ABOUT

Kimberley Moore Sings, performs, creates and facilitates. She is from the depths of Suffolk and is an all round 'Interactor'.

Kimberley writes serious (ish) lyrical songs and performs solo, in a singer-songwriter style as well as having her own band behind her: The Kimberley Moore Band (KMB).

Writing original comedy songs that are sometimes...funny, is also one of Kimberley's passions!

She has a Performing Arts Degree and has attended a number of Clowning Courses allowing her to further her skills in expressivity and physical presence on stage and in workshops.

Kimberley has had training with established and award winning practitioners such as:

Peta Lily

Flick Ferdinando

Avner the Eccentric

Mick Barnfather

Rachel Caine

Moshe Cohen

James Peck

Reuben Kay

Kimberley became an apprentice with Aldeburgh Music Education. Now, she is a freelance workshop facilitator and regularly works with Aldeburgh Music on their projects, as well as a variety of her own. She has worked with young offenders, primary and special schools, care homes, people living with dementia, short break services and various community choirs. Each group differing in abilities and size (sometimes working one to one) but all focusing on communication, group cohesion, well being and creativity...often just being silly. It's a wonder how she has time to eat the chocolate she hordes in her room.

Using her 'sensitivity' Kimberley is able to explore other artistic roles. In different, more adult settings, such as cabaret and soirees, she embarks upon a world of the surreal with walkabout and musical stage characters. The audience becomes immersed in the performance and enters a world of the bizarre yet familiar.

Kimberley writes comedy songs from the characters’ points of view and sings you through their thoughts and experiences. If you encounter this part of her you are guaranteed to be left bewildered, yet safe and smiling.
