“The wonderfully creative and prolific Kimberley Moore.”

Singer, Musician, Composer, Performer, Workshop Facilitator

Based in Norfolk Kimberley is a singer, musician, composer, Performer and workshop facilitator. Kimberley Learned from a very young age singing and playing enabled an outlet for expression and to help her make sense of the world. She studied Performing Arts in 2009 and has been writing songs for over 20 years.

As a singer-songwriter, Kimberley’s songs are acoustic, often confessional and story-like. Playing guitar and ukulele and with a voice pure and ethereal, she enjoys the clarity in the nonsense of metaphor, while making specific references to her own experiences for her audience to interpret. She has recorded EPs which are available to buy as well as taking part in the the One Month Album project.

At home as both a solo singer songwriter and ensemble singer she has performed at independent events, open mics, show cases, festivals such as Norwich Pride and Bath Fringe, mini tours and weaving her songs into themed evenings like True Stories Live at Norwich Arts Centre. Kimberley has been invited to sing as a soprano in Harmonium with Sian Croose and international song writers Brendan Taaffe, Su Hart as well as, frequently collaborating with composer Alfie Carpenter.

As a performer in cabaret and theatre she embarks upon surreal worlds with walkabout and musical stage characters where the audience is invited to become immersed in the performance through interactive conversation. She has collaborated with theatre companies Hocus Pocus, Gossamer Thread, Neon Moon and is a member of The Ukulele Elves taking on the Persona of Splodge the Elf.

Kimberley has over 10 years experience in health care clowning and facilitating music and singing workshops, working with care homes including people living with dementia; primary, secondary and special education schools, community outreach programmes, hospitals, hospices and social events. Her work is often with groups and individuals varying in ability, age and experience of musical activity, with an aim to reduce loneliness or increase participants well-being and have a bit of fun. With organisations such as Creative Arts East, Suffolk Artlink, Britten Pears Arts (formally Snape Maltings) and Sing Your Heart Out (SYHO).

It’s a wonder she’s got time to eat the chocolate she hordes in her room.

If you have an event or setting where you would like Kimberley to perform or facilitate please get in touch to bounce some ideas around for what you need.

Walkabout & Cabaret Theatre

Playing the guitar and ukulele Kimberley writes and performs semi-autobiographical lyrical songs with an intricate twist. Book her for one of your events to be immersed in a world of the bizarre yet familiar as her voice haunts with honesty and beauty.

Workshop facilitator

Kimberley can lead and facilitate sessions with musical games, songs, lyrical and song writing exercises to suit groups or all ages and abilities. Kimberley can lead repertoire or use a person centred approach with a view to engage and create musical experiences empowering participants to make choices and positive contributions to the sessions…and we can have a lot of fun.

Kimberley can offer an array of musical and interactive comedy characters from the ridiculous to the sublime adding sparkle to your event and breaking the fourth wall with roaming entertainment. For cabaret, schools, receptions, office parties and social daytime and evening events.

Ukelele Elves

Kimberley or Splodge the Elf and the rest of the cheeky Elves are a Walkabout musical and interactive comedy act who love to lark about with everyone they meet, Christmas chit chat, sharing jokes singing and playing their ukuleles!

Little Bird

This cheerful, bumbling, childlike delight has good manners and a good heart. The audience meets a speechless soul who communicates with her one true friend and, of course, humour. Playing with the audience and showing off a caged bird, this character entertains and can be used to usher.
